The day kicks off at 10 a.m. with a performance by St Stythians Band, marching down from the main gateย to the flagpoles for the official opening ceremony, complete a rendition of the Cornish National Anthem. Along with a lively lineup ofย local acts performing at the Buskers tent throughout the day there will be performances from:

๐บ The St Stythians Band returns to the bandstand to play until 4:30 p.m., then again in the evening concert at 8 p.m. Donโt forget your picnic blanket!
๐ด Horses, Hounds & More
For equestrian fans - this year includes the newly added Newcomers / 1.10m Open while the new Veteran horse sections have seen bumper entries for 2025. Junior classes now start later for school-aged riders.ย
๐ And donโt miss the Open Dog Show, featuring a wide range of breeds, international judges, and plenty of wagging tails. Whether you're an exhibitor or a dog lover, itโs always a crowd-pleaser.
๐ New for 2025: Steam Display Ring
NEW this year is a dedicated display ring in the Steam Section. Expect to see:
๐ Miniature steam engines pulling traditional carts
๐ Vintage lorries, cars, and traction engines
๐ An ideal spot to sit down, relax, and enjoy a picnic while engines work under their own steam

Are Dogs Allowed at Stithians Show?
Well-behaved dogs on short, non-extendable leads are very welcome at Stithians Show! They can enjoy most areas of the Showground, but you must keep them strictly under control around other animals. Dogs are also welcome in the Membersโ Pavilion - as long as they remain on a short lead and are on their best behaviour.
